Roundtable Discussion on Navigating Mental Health Issues in Juvenile Court – Wednesday, April

On Wednesday, April 27th, 2016, there will be a Roundtable Discussion on Navigating Mental Health Issues in Juvenile Court at the Johnston County Courthouse, Grand Jury Conference Room, Smithfield, North Carolina.  There will be a Networking Lunch from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm.  Training begins at 1:00 pm to no later than 4:00 pm.

The training will feature Dr. Cindy Cottle, expert on forensic evaluations for juveniles, a panel of attorneys and providers that work in local juvenile courts, and District 11 Chief Court Counselor Marsha Woodall.

This training is being offered for free and sponsored by the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and the NC Office of the Juvenile Defender. The training is open to any attorney interested in discussing mental health issues that arise in juvenile court.
